Privacy Policy – Echo

Summary: Echo does not collect, track, or share any personal data. The developer has no access to your data.

Data you create

The sentences, translations, notes and learning progress you create are stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync, this data is synced through your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit). It stays within your iCloud, is not accessible to the developer, and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

What we do NOT do

• No analytics or usage tracking.
• No advertising.
• No third-party SDKs.
• No data is sent to the developer or to any third-party server.

Apple technologies used (on-device)

• Text-to-speech (AVSpeechSynthesizer) – runs on your device.
• Translation suggestions (Apple Translation) – processed on your device.
• Local notifications (daily reminder) – scheduled on your device; nothing leaves the device.

Backup / Export

You can export your data to a file you control (e.g. to the Files app). Where you store or share that file is entirely up to you.

Children

The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can delete your data at any time in the app’s settings. Deleting the app removes all local data.
